My day 2 in kashmir

In the morning we woke up and got ready quickly as we were going to gulmarg today. I thought it would have snow there. But no! It was more than that. I realised that if it would have snow here so I could not have been able to see this beautiful scenery.

Natural beauty

Me and my father were just walking up on the hills without any stress or tension. We were free to go wherever we want. We went a long distance walking and walking. It was a jaw-dropping view. I loved that view😷.

When we went back to the hills, people served us a special drink of kashmir. That was the famous “kashmiri kahwa”.

Kashmiri kahwa

It tasted sweet….very sweet🤣.

We had no idea where we will be going next. But ya! That was a truly life time experience. After eating our Indian style Maggi and having lunch, we left for our room and rested out there.

Next morning we stayed at out hotel room only because I had my school viva that day.( I had to study). But if we stay at our room only than what’s the fun in coming so far. At lunch me and my father went for lunch out of the restaurant.

We walked 1.6 km and reached there. Then again walked 1.6 km to hotel. My father gave our walk a terrific name…trekking. yeah! actually it was trekking. Hills and downs slopes were fun to walk.

5 reasons why you should adopt indie dogs!!

Adapting to climate

The Indie dog is a naturally evolved breed and has been shaped by natural selection. They are acclimatised to the tropical weather as they have originated and lived in India for centuries. Thus, they are accustomed to the Indian environment and can survive over other breeds.

Extremely healthy

Since Indie dogs have not been bred for thousands of years, they are healthier than other breeds. Their height ranges from 51 to 64cm at the shoulder and weighs between 12 and 20kgs.

Problems like hip dysplasia and obesity are extremely rare among these dogs. In fact, they have a strong immune system and can thrive with basic, regular health checkups, nutritious meals, and exercise.

Comparatively low maintenance

Indies are quite low maintenance in nature. They have a short coarse coat, and therefore, shed little to no fur around their living area. Monthly baths and weekly brushing are enough to keep their coat in good condition.

Alert and intelligent

The streets have played a significant role in the evolution of Indie dogs. They are highly alert and quite literally street smart.

They adapt well to new places, and based on several people’s experiences, they are easier to train. Although as a territorial breed, they may react with aggression to unknown dogs or people as adults, socialisation helps keep their cool.

Equally loving and sensitive

Indies are primarily known for their territorial nature, which makes them good watchdogs.

But their generally cheerful and social nature makes them very lovable among people, and even develop a strong bond of loyalty with their family and owners.

Love an Indie dog, and they’ll love you back in abundance.

Puppy and me

Once in the evening, I was sitting in the park with my little teddy bear on a green small bench completely surrounded by plants and bushes. I was just 6 and I didn’t know what’s right and what’s wrong at that age. I saw some big kids disturbing and irritating a puppy. I can’t say that they were playing with him. I got scared and got up to run but I don’t know why I stopped? I walked towards them but before I reached there, someone came and scolded those kids. Those kids went later. I calmly moved my hands on his head to relax him. he licked my doll laying on the ground. after 5-7 minutes I picked my doll and puppy and came back home. my mother was completely shocked and a little sad to see that puppy but I wanted to pet him. so, I took him to my room and gave him some food with a little milk. next day I saw a lady roaming in my street with the hesitated and a worried attitude. that puppy started barking after seeing her. suddenly she saw me and rang our doorbell. we came at the door and my mother attended her. she ignored everything and told me “I lost my puppy last evening in the park and I am very happy to see him and get him back, thank you for getting him else he would have died or Lost away” my eyes met tears, she hugged me and took the puppy. later that evening when my daddy arrived, I asked him to get me a puppy. he refused by saying that I was too small to take care of it. I also agreed later and went back to my room as I understood the same. now I go to the park every evening to play with that puppy
